तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः ।गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते ॥ ३.२८ ॥
tattva-vit tu maha-baho guna-karma-vibhagayoh guna gunesu vartanta iti matva na sajjate

हे महाबाहो! गुण और कर्म के विभाजन को तत्त्व से जानने वाला पुरुष यह समझकर कि गुण ही गुणों में बरत रहे हैं, आसक्त नहीं होता।
English
But one who understands the truth about the divisions of the gunas and their actions, O mighty-armed one, knowing that it is merely the gunas acting upon the gunas, does not become attached.
